Masquerade Introduction: Carl Nielsen composed six symphonies, two operas, and numerous concertos, choruses, etc. throughout his life. Among them, the light-hearted opera "Masquerade" (1904-06, UA 1906), based on Ludwig Holberg's comedy, was popular across the country at the time, and the museum recreated the scenes in the opera in costumes.
