Library introduction: The library was founded in 1976 and officially changed its name to Northeastern University Qinhuangdao Branch Library in 1993. An independent building was built in 2000. In 2010, the new building located in the comprehensive laboratory building was put into use. The new and old buildings are organically integrated by a beautiful sky corridor.
By the end of 2011, the library had a total collection of more than 1.01 million volumes, 776 printed Chinese and foreign journals, and 54 Chinese and foreign databases. It has 1,808 reading seats, is open 84 hours a week, and has 24-hour network service. It realizes a management and service model that integrates collection, borrowing, reading, and the Internet, providing teachers and students with a good reading and learning environment.
