Introduction to the stone archway: The stone archway is located at the entrance of the central axis of the academy. It is also called the Horse Head Archway. It is a three-bay, four-column, five-story stone archway. On the forehead of the archway, there are the inscriptions "Old Relics of Donglin" and "Houxue Jinliang". It is carved with exquisite patterns such as two dragons playing with beads, red phoenix rising to the sun, lion rolling hydrangea, carp jumping over the dragon gate, etc. It is the landmark building and symbol of Donglin Academy.
