Introduction to Tiaodun River: Tiaodun River (reservoir), also known as Crane Lake, is the main overwintering habitat of black-necked cranes in Dashanbao. Tourists who have not taken a walk around Tiaodun Lake have not truly visited Dashanbao. This is a 340-hectare plateau freshwater lake. Black-necked cranes rest in the swamps beside the lake at night, then take off in the early morning and fly back at noon. It is best for tourists to find a flat piece of grass and use telescopes to observe their living habits from a distance. Tiaodun Lake also produces a kind of swamp smelt, which is silver-white and almost transparent. Its meat is delicate and delicious, which is endlessly memorable.
