Introduction to the Customs House: The Custom House (The Custom House) is located on the north bank of the River Liffey. It is a master-level 18th-century neoclassical building and is known as the jewel in the crown of Dublin's urban architecture. This building was designed by the famous Irish architectural designer James Gandon and took 10 years to build.
