Introduction to the Turtle Breeding Center: The Turtle Breeding Center on Isabela Island is responsible for the breeding of giant tortoises. Baby giant tortoises are very fragile and easily disturbed by human pets on the island. Currently, most of the baby giant tortoises are raised in breeding centers until they grow up before being released into the wild.
