Introduction to Rongbuk Temple: Rongbuk Temple, whose full name is "Latucha Rongbuk Dong Aquling Temple", is located on the top of "Dolma" (Tara) on the east and west sides of Rongbuk Valley under Mount Everest in the south of Basong Township, Dingri County, Shigatse Prefecture, Tibet. It is the highest temple in the world and belongs to the Nyingmapa sect of Tibet. It is a mixed temple with local characteristics of monks and nuns. Looking south from Rongbuk Temple, you can see that Mount Everest is like a huge pyramid, standing majestically among the peaks, and the scenery is wonderful.
