Introduction to the Central Plains Breakout Martyrs Monument: It is located on the north side of the cemetery, parallel to the Hubei-Henan Border Area Martyrs Monument, about 300 meters away from the top of Golden Turtle Mountain. The foundation stone was laid on June 27, 1996, and completed on April 15, 1998. . The entire monument covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The monument is 12 meters long, 6.4 meters high, and 2 meters thick. It is in the shape of a horizontal military map. On the front of the monument, facing west, there are three huge red arrows, representing the three main forces of the Central Plains army. The huge red arc circle was successfully broken out from different directions, representing the 300,000 troops of the Kuomintang reactionaries who surrounded our Central Plains troops. Comrade Jiang Zemin, then general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, inscribed the title of the monument.
