Introduction to Kuixing Tower: Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a talented man Liu Manjiang in Gaotang County. He was well-read in poetry and books and had extraordinary literary talent. However, at the age of eighteen, his grandfather, who was an official in the court, was framed by a traitor and his relatives were framed. He was not allowed to be an official for ten years. After that, Liu Manjiang and his mother hid in a cold kiln to survive, chopping firewood to make ends meet, and studying scriptures hard at the same time. Later, the old emperor passed away and the young emperor ascended the throne and granted amnesty to the world. Only then did Liu Manjiang dare to leave the cold kiln and marry his wife Meng Yuhong with the help of couplets. Later, Liu Manjiang went to Beijing to take the exam, and was named on the gold medal list. He served as an official for forty years, regulated the Huaihe River, punished corrupt officials, and made great contributions to the people. After Liu Manjiang passed away at the age of seventy-eight, the people of the three counties and seven states of Liangzi Lake made voluntary donations to commemorate Liu Manjiang and Meng Yuhong. They built Kuixing Tower and Yukuo Pavilion on the top of the mountain to the north of Liangzi Town and southwest of Modaoji respectively. Because Liu Manjiang was once called "Kuixing" by the emperor, this building was called Kuixing Tower.
