Introduction to Yunju Temple: The temple was built in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It was so large in the Ming and Qing Dynasties that it was known as the "Giant Temple in the North". The original temple was destroyed by Japanese artillery fire in 1942, and the current Yunju Temple was restored after liberation.
