Introduction to Hu Gong Temple: Hu Gong Temple, also called Pingfeng Pavilion, is located in a stone cave known as the Lion's Throat. The cave is 10.75 meters deep and 18.7 meters wide. The wooden supports are pillars and no rafters or tiles are used. The front wall is surrounded by a screen, and there are two doors on the side. Sitting in the center of the hall is the statue of Hu Ze. There was an unfathomable well behind the seated statue of Hu Gong, called Yanjing, commonly known as the Lion's Throat. It is also the only well-preserved ancient building in Fangyan that has escaped the catastrophe of the Cultural Revolution.
