Introduction to strange trees: Daba Mountain is one of the important biodiversity research bases in the country. There are many rare plants distributed in the scenic area, and it is still famous for "Davidia involucrata". Known as the "Chinese Pigeon Tree", Davidia involucrata is a relict plant left over from the Tertiary Period of the Cenozoic Era 10 million years ago. During the Quaternary Ice Age, the Davidia involucrata in most areas became extinct, except in some areas of southern my country. It survived and became the "living fossil" of the plant world today.
