Introduction to the stone carvings: Under Putuo Rock there is a stele of poems by He Shen, a powerful traitor in the Qing Dynasty and a bachelor of Wenhua Palace. It was a sixty-year-old poem left by He Shen when he passed Feiyun Cliff in the 45th year of Qianlong's reign when he went to Yunnan to investigate Li Shiyao's corruption case. The four-line poem and the preface are inscribed on the stele, and the content is a poem praising the beauty of Feiyun Cliff.
