Legend has it that there were no camels in the Taihang Mountains. In ancient times, a Taoist priest rode a camel to Mount Wutai to worship. He walked to the Phoenix River and saw that it was full of fairy light and aura, so he stopped and sat on the Wuyou Terrace to rest. It suddenly rained heavily that night. , a flash flood broke out, and the people and livestock living in the canyon were submerged. When the Taoist priest saw it, he ordered the camel to block the water. The camel walked into the river and lay down there. The flood was stopped and slowly flowed down. The people saved their property and life, and they all thanked the Taoist for his kindness and rescue. The Taoist saw that the position of the camel in the river was very important, so he said that you should stay here to stop the flood and protect the people. He turned around and said to the common people, "If there is another flood in the future, you can hide on this worry-free stage and sit back and relax." Since then, Camel's Hump and Sans Souci Terrace have remained here. If there is a flash flood in summer, people will be safe if they board the Wuyou Platform.
