Introduction to Santa Maria Novella Gallery: Santa Maria Novella Church (Santa Maria Novella) is located opposite Florence Station. It looks like a castle made of khaki bricks. It was first built around 1279 to 1357. The front of the church was in 1470. It was renovated in 2001 by the architect Alberti.
Although the appearance of the Santa Maria Novella Gallery is inconspicuous, the splendid Gothic frescoes inside the church are one of the most famous church arts in Europe, among which Masaccio's Holy Trinity mural is the most famous. In addition, the main altar, green cloister, Spanish Chapel (currently a museum) and Strozzi Chapel at the end of the church are also worth visiting.
