Square introduction: The square in front of Notre Dame Church was first built in 1182. The square was originally built for holding parades and rallies. It has now developed into the central square of Paris, surrounded by many souvenir shops and ancient bookstores. On the right side of the square stands a bronze statue of Henry IV.
