Introduction to Chaoyin Pavilion: Chaoyin Pavilion is built of granite. It is small and exquisite and stands tall. It is the best spot to view the sea. A couplet in the pavilion says: "The sound of the dragon piercing the sea is strong, and the sun is rising and the mirage is majestic." This is quite fitting of the majestic landscape in front of us. Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a mute cowherd at the foot of Taimu Mountain. Because he failed to rebel, he was chased by officers and soldiers: relying on his familiarity with the terrain, he crossed the water and the mountains until he reached the sea. With no way forward and pursuers behind him, the cowherd patted the horns of the cow, raised his head to the sky and roared, urging the cow to jump into the sea. The old cow carried its owner, crashed through the rocks in front of it, and disappeared among thousands of waves.
