Introduction to Cixi Nunnery: Cixi Nunnery is located at the entrance of the Dadi Tulou Group Scenic Area. It is the Zhu family ancestral hall with a history of more than 700 years. It consists of two nunneries side by side and has a typical architectural style of southern Fujian ancestral temples.
Cixi Temple enshrines many gods, including the Three Saints of the West (Tathagata Buddha, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva), as well as Empress Sangzi, Guan Gong, Tu Gong, and Black-faced Wei San Gong, as well as Taoist gods and Buddhist gods. The harmonious coexistence of the Buddha and the gods worshiped by the whole world and the gods believed in southern Fujian are a major feature of the regional culture of southern Fujian.
