Introduction to Dongyang Tower: Dongyang Tower is a square earth building located on the west side of Nanyang Tower. It was built in the 22nd year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1817) by Jiang Zongsi, the grandson of Jiang Shixiong, the builder of Eryi Tower. The lion-shaped mountain on the south side of Yilou is commonly known as the "lion's stamp".
Dongyang Building faces northwest and faces southeast, covering an area of 2,200 square meters. The building has 2 floors, 11 meters high, 45.81 meters wide, and 26 meters deep. The entire building is low in front and high in back, with an inner corridor style. There are 36 rooms in the main building. There are 4 rooms and 4 halls, and there are 13 households with 47 people.
There is a cheng in front of Dongyang Tower, which is paved with cobblestones and surrounded by stone walls. There is a well inside the wall and a road outside the wall. It has a small facade facing the east and a half-moon-shaped lotus pond on the south side.
