Introduction to the old site of the peasant riot: The former site of the peasant riot is located in Hongjie Palace, Huotong Town. In May 1933, the Ningde Special Branch of the Communist Party of China and the Huotong District Committee decided to hold a peasant armed riot. On May 28, Ye Fei and Yan Alan led more than 50 workers and peasants self-defense team members to capture Hongjie Palace, the headquarters of the Huotong Militia League, and seized 26 guns and a batch of ammunition, achieving a complete victory in the armed riot. This is the famous "Huo Tong Peasant Rebellion" in the history of the Mindong Party.
