Introduction to the Ginkgo tree: It is located in Dinglin Temple and has a history of at least nearly 4,000 years. The tree is now 26.7 meters high, its crown covers more than 20 acres of land, and its trunk is 15.7 meters in circumference. Eight people need to stretch their arms to encircle it. This ancient tree is a tree species left over from the Ice Age and is known as a "living fossil". It has been identified by experts from the Ministry of Forestry as “the best ginkgo tree in the world”.
