Introduction to the ancient mountain climbing trail: In ancient times, the way to climb Gushan Mountain started from the lower courtyard at the foot of the mountain, passed through the "Seven Pavilions and Seven Miles Road", and went directly to the gate of Yongquan Temple. There were more than 2,000 steps in total.
The seven pavilions along the road are "Dongji Pavilion" (Dongji Bridge), "Yangzhi Pavilion" (obsolete), "Shimen Pavilion", "Chengyun Pavilion", "Banshan Pavilion", "Tea Pavilion", " "Songguan Pavilion" and "Changyi Pavilion" are dotted with stone carvings on the rock walls beside the road. The contents are mainly based on the mountaineers' insights, such as "Don't rest halfway", "Floating clouds in the eyes", "The road must be calm", etc.
