Introduction to the Eighteen Scenes of Bodhidharma: To the west of Yongquan Temple is a Lion Peak shaped like a lion. Walk west along the Lion Peak for several miles and you will reach Bodhidharma Cave. Inside the cave is a 2-meter-long sitting statue of Bodhidharma facing the wall; outside the cave There is a huge stone with a flat stone wall, on which are engraved the eighteen scenes of Gushan compiled by the poet Wei Jie during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty based on the natural scenery and folklore of Gushan.
