Introduction to Tower Alley: is located to the south of Langguan Alley and connects to the South Back Street in the west. The old name was Xiuwen Lane. There was a wooden pagoda built by Wang Shenzhi, the king of Fujian in the Five Dynasties, who was affiliated with Langya Anyuan envoy. It was called Yuwang Pagoda. It was indicative of the "prosperous cultural movement". Therefore, Chen Su, the magistrate of the Song Dynasty, changed the name of the lane to "Xingwen Lane". ”, which was soon changed to “Wenxing”. After the Southern Song Dynasty, the pagoda was destroyed. In the Qing Dynasty, half a small pagoda was built in the alley as a commemoration. The alley was called "Taxiang" because there was the Yuwang Pagoda.
