In 1998, Zhao Xuemin, member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, inscribed a large Chinese character "Shou" on the right side of Jiuxian Cave, with a diameter of 2.4 meters x 1 meter, in cursive script.
