The immortal taught Magu that the only way to save her neighbors was to get Yao's green lotus fairy grass. Magu then used the rice, clear spring, and medicinal herbs given by the immortal to carefully brew wine and present it to the Queen Mother to celebrate her birthday. The Queen Mother was overjoyed and kept Magu in Yaochi. Magu took the opportunity to collect the green lotus fairy grass that could bring people back to life and returned to her hometown. From then on, the plague disappeared along the Xujiang River, people lived a long life, the country was beautiful, and talents emerged in large numbers. Magu also achieved enlightenment and became an immortal, which has been praised throughout the ages.
