Introduction to Lingxing Gate: Lingxing Gate is also called Xianshi Gate. The existing stone components were built in the Ming Dynasty. It has six columns and three bays, a symmetrical layout, and each column foot is equipped with two flagpole stones sandwiched in front and back. . In front of the door, three more steps were built to separate the Lingxing Gate from the middle of the street. The Lingxing Gate with six pillars and three bays means respecting Confucius as much as respecting Heaven. Lingxing Gate is the first entrance courtyard of the central axis building complex of the Confucian Temple. It is separated from Panchi and Zhuangyuan Bridge in the middle and is opposite to Dacheng Gate.
