Introduction to the inscription: On the south and west sides of the monument are engraved the inscription "Monument to the Battle of Lazikou" written by General Yang Chengwu; on the north side are engraved the Provincial People's Government's introduction to the Battle of Lazikou and the inscription of admiration and remembrance of the revolutionary martyrs: "Lazi The glorious victory in the Battle of Lazikou will forever shine in the annals of our country’s revolution; the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives gloriously in the Battle of Lazikou will be immortalized forever!”
