Introduction to Yucheng Station: Yucheng Station was built in the eighth year of Hongwu (1375) in the Ming Dynasty. It was destroyed by Japanese fire in the thirty-sixth year of Jiajing, and was rebuilt in the second year of Longqing. Yucheng is another name for Gaoyou. In the ninth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1376), Zhu Yuanzhang ordered the Hanlin bachelor to revise the country's vulgar and indecent post names, so Qinhuai Post was renamed Yucheng Post.
