Introduction to the Singer Hall: After Ludwig II visited Wartburg in 1867, he made up his mind to build a replica of the banquet hall like Wartburg. The architect Julius Hofmann designed the banquet and singer's hall in Neuschwanstein Castle with inspiration from the Wartburg. According to the king's wishes, the furniture in this hall was even more luxurious than that in the Wartburg. From the gallery outside the hall to the oil paintings in the hall, the Singer's Hall records the heroic legend of Richard Wagner's opera Parsifal.
