Elder Heye introduced: In the middle of the cliff on the southeast side of Heyeping, just next to the road up the mountain, there is a granite boulder, one hundred meters high, shaped like a monk, leaning against the huge cliff, facing northwest, with his right arm hanging down. , his left arm is bent in front of his chest, his hands and palms are clear, his face is majestic and solemn, and the bottom of his chin is covered by tall and lush green pine trees, which looks like a curling beard. This is the "Elder Lotus Leaf", one of the eight scenic spots in Heyeping. Wang Keshou, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem called "Luya Mountain": "Guests stand in front of the lotus leaf terrace, and the lotus peak is scary." The words "guest" and "person" in the poem describe this wonder of stone scenery. According to local folklore, Elder Heye was transformed by Patriarch Bodhidharma. It is said that when Bodhidharma came to Guanjuan Mountain, he saw continuous storms and floods, and it turned out that there was a demon at work. Bodhidharma sacrificed a lotus leaf and turned it into a mountain to suppress the demon at the foot of the mountain. This mountain is Heyeping. Patriarch Bodhidharma also became a "guest in front of Heyeping" and stayed in Heyeping forever.
