Introduction to Tuzhu Temple: The Tuzhu Temple in the ancient town was first built in the 7th to 8th centuries AD. It is a typical temple of the "Azhali" sect of Tantric Buddhism in Yunnan. Its full name should be "Daling Tuzhu Temple" . This temple is one of the "eight hundred large temples, called Lanruo, and the three thousand small temples, called Jialan" built all over Yunnan by the order of the King of Nanzhao. The ancient town began to become associated with religion, and the Tuzhu Temple is the only remaining physical witness.
