Su Dongpo's introduction: During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, Su Xiuhong, the great-great-grandson of Su Tianrong, was the inspection department of Jingshan in Dongguan, Guangdong. In order to fulfill his great ancestor's dream, he went to Yihe to inspect the mountains and rivers. In the fourteenth year of Hongwu (1381), he visited Three hundred hectares (30,000 acres) of land was purchased nearby. His eldest son, Su Yi, inherited the family name and settled here with his family, naming it Su Wei. Since then, people in Suwei have regarded Su Dongpo as their distant ancestor, Su Tianrong as their ancestor, and Su Xiuhong as their first ancestor.
