Introduction to Qingshitan Reservoir: Qingshitan Reservoir is a national-level large-scale reservoir that was personally approved and planned by Premier Zhou Enlai. It is a comprehensive utilization site mainly for irrigation, which combines water supply, power generation, flood control, shipping, fish farming, tourism, etc. It is also the fourth largest reservoir in Guangxi and the largest reservoir in northern Guangxi. The dam was built at the mouth of the Qingshitan Canyon on the Gantang River, a tributary of the Li River. It was named after the location of the dam site.
