Introduction to Haiguang Zen Temple: Founded in the 1st year of Daoguang Geng in the Qing Dynasty (1840 AD), it was carved into rock by Zen Master Haiguang and his disciples. The cave enshrines Maitreya Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Eighteen Arhats, making it an orthodox Buddhist dojo. At its peak, there were more than ten monks. Maitreya Buddha is one of the six Bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism and the successor of Buddha.
