Introduction to the Dabei Building: The Dabei Building was built in the second year of Baoli in the Tang Dynasty (826). The cover is shaped like a mushroom and is made of bluestone. It is 2.19 meters high. The "Great Compassion Mantra" is engraved on all sides of the building. It is the earliest existing stone carving in the temple. There are some that can be dated, but most of the handwriting has weathered.
