Introduction to the Song Stele: The Song Stele, also called the Kaibao Stele, is the second treasure stele in the Nanhai Temple. In the sixth year of the Kaibao reign of Emperor Taizu of the Song Dynasty (AD 973), the "Stele of King Guangli newly built in the Song Dynasty" was erected on the west side of the temple's head gate. The content of the inscription is that the Song Dynasty first established the Municipal Shipping Department (Customs) in Guangzhou to manage foreign trade, ordered envoys to repair the temple, conquered the Southern Han Dynasty, recovered Lingnan, hoped that "the four seas will surrender, and the seven counties will be kings", and the founding Hou Pan Mei was granted the title The first city shipping envoy in the Song Dynasty (equivalent to the current customs commissioner).
