Introduction to the Purple Pear Blossom Pavilion: The Purple Pear Blossom Pavilion is the place where Ju Lian taught his apprentices in painting. On the door is a wooden plaque inscribed "Purple Pear Blossom Pavilion" by Qiu Hai, a late Qing calligrapher. There were original flowers and trees such as wisteria and phoenix tree in front of the pavilion, so it was called the Purple Pear Pavilion. To the west of the room is the place where Ju Lian used to teach and paint. To the east is the study room, where Gao Jianfu and Chen Shuren, the founders of the Lingnan School of Painting, once studied painting here.
