Introduction to the silver box: The lid and body of the silver box are combined to form an oblate spherical shape. The lid and the body of the silver box are made of opposing staggered garlic-shaped convex patterns using hammering techniques. The craftsmanship, decoration and shape are the characteristics of ancient West Asian Persian silverware. Therefore, it is considered an imported product from overseas, which shows that Guangzhou was already an important port and commodity distribution center in China during the Western Han Dynasty.
