In the 22nd year of Yongle's reign, he was conferred the title of King Xiang. In the 14th year of Zhengtong, Emperor Yingzong was captured in Beishou. His younger brother Zhu Qiyu was established as emperor, that is, Dai Zong. In the first year of Tianshun's reign, Yingzong was restored. In the palace, Zhu Zhanta wrote a memorial to the Empress Dowager imploring Yingzong to be restored. He was so moved that he sent eunuchs twice to bring King Xiangxian to the palace, and also granted permission to use these five mountains as King Xiangxian's palace. The tomb site was built, and Liu Chun, the head of the Ministry of Industry, was ordered to supervise the construction.
