Introduction to the Red Army Headquarters: He Long Headquarters was built in the spring of 1904 with funding from British Lutheran missionary Rosalind. In May 1931, He Long and Liu Zhixun were defeated in Honghu. In order to preserve their strength, they led the main force of the Seventh and Eighth Divisions of the Red Army to break through from Ma Liangping in Baokang and enter the ancient city area via Xiema. In Xieshan, he helped the Hubei-Henan Border Region Special Committee establish the only local armed force in northern Hubei - the Xieshan Red Army Guerrilla Force. The headquarters is located in this villa. The Xieshan guerrillas cooperated with the 8th Red Division and the 25th Red Division to open up a red guerrilla zone with a radius of more than 100 miles with Xieshan as the center.
