Introduction to the Reclining Buddha: The Reclining Buddha is naturally formed on the mountain. The body of the Buddha is 68 meters wide, the head is 50.5 meters long, and the mouth is 12.3 meters wide. It was given to the painter Nyima Tseren by an authoritative figure in my country's Buddhist circles and the 10th Panchen Lama. It is called the longest reclining Buddha in the world. It displays the stunning artistic charm of the picture of Sakyamuni’s passing away. It is said that the rock cave in Wofo Mountain was dug by Shen Yu. It is named Longmen Temple because of the giant dragon coiled around the stone bones.
The Danxia Mountain in the Reclining Buddha Scenic Area is undulating and criss-crossing, with endless ravines and water accumulations. The lake surrounds the mountain wall, and the mountain bones meander in the water. There are ninety-nine harbors and thirty-six heavens. It is called "water maze".
