Introduction to Lianxi Waterfall: Lianxi was formerly known as Catfish Creek. During the Northern Song Dynasty, the famous Neo-Confucian Zhou Dunyi (named Lianxi) and his disciples came to Xunzhou to study and give lectures, and often traveled to Xishan. Later generations wanted to commemorate his memory. For his contribution to the development of Guiping's literary style, the stream was gradually named after him.
Lian River flows down the mountain north of Tingsongxuan, with water splashing everywhere, forming a beautiful waterfall.
