Introduction to Yao Wengyan: Yao Wengyan is located in the middle of the Xishan Mountain. It was named in memory of Yao Tan, the prefect of Xunzhou during the Taiping period of the Song Dynasty. He had outstanding political achievements. Later he was recalled to the court and served as the teacher of Yuan Jie, the fifth prince of Song Taizong.
