Introduction to Longtan Song Dynasty kiln site: When the Kaihua County Cultural Relics Census Team investigated Suzhuang Township (today's Maotan Town) in 1982, they discovered for the first time many accumulations of porcelain shards on the tea mountain opposite Longtan Village. On October 29, 1985, the county cultural management committee conducted a detailed review of the site and collected various specimens. It was determined that this kiln site was first fired in the Yuan Dynasty, and it mainly fired blue and white porcelain. The discovery of this kiln site provides valuable physical information for studying the history of the development of Wuzhou kiln and the shape, decoration and production technology of folk blue and white porcelain.
