Introduction to Kangnyeongjeon: is the king's sleeping palace. It was built in the 28th year of Hongwu of Taizu (1395) and burned down by the Japanese invasion (Imjin Japanese Rebellion) in the Wanli reign of Seonjo (1592). In 1867, it was rebuilt and completed at the same time as Qinzheng Hall. When the inner hall of Changdeokgung Palace was burned down and rebuilt in the fifth year of Taesho (1917), the palaces of Gyeongbokgung Palace (including Kangnyeongjeon) were moved here, and the palace was used as Huijeongdang Hall of Changdeokgung Palace.
