Introduction to Shanghai Rongguang Theater: Shanghai Rongguang Theater is located on Haining Road, Shanghai. It was invested and built by Guangdong businessman Lu Bicheng and opened on November 2, 1932. After the August 13th Incident, it was occupied by the Japanese and renamed Qiuzhi Theater. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, it was taken over by the enemy and was taken over by the Shanghai Municipal Education Bureau. It was later sublet to the Central Propaganda Department of the Kuomintang and became the film screening station of the Central Film Service Office of the Central Propaganda Department. In May 1945, it was renamed the International Grand Theater. In June 1949, it was taken over by the Cultural and Art Department of the Shanghai Navy Management Committee, and in December of the same year, it was renamed International Cinema.
