Introduction to the Qiantang River: The Qiantang River was called Zhejiang, Jianjiang, Luosha River, and Zhijiang River in ancient times. It originates from the six peaks of the main peak of Huaiyu Mountain in Xiuning County, which is more than 1,600 meters above sea level. It flows through 14 counties and cities and flows into Hangzhou Bay. The mouth of the Qiantang River is in the shape of a huge trumpet. The distance between the north and south banks of Hangzhou Bay is about 100 kilometers. It shrinks to 20 kilometers at the mouth of the Qiantang River and only 2.5 kilometers up to Yanguan, Haining. This section of the river is affected by the narrowness of the river surface and the uplift of the river bed. The tidal waves break and surge, forming the world's wonder "Qiantang River Tide". On the lower reaches of the Qiantang River, near the Liuhe Pagoda in Xihu District, Hangzhou City, there is the famous Qiantang River Bridge.
