Introduction to Niigata Friendship Garden: As a sister city, the name of the mayor of Niigata is engraved on Niigata Friendship Garden, formerly known as Japan Garden. It was built in 1989 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the establishment of sister cities between Harbin, China and Niigata, Japan. It was officially completed and opened to the outside world on September 1, 2016. The garden covers an area of ​​42,000 square meters and is a typical itinerant Japanese garden. There is a Sino-Japanese Friendship Memorial Hall in Japanese architectural style in the garden, as well as some small landscapes imitating famous Japanese landscapes. The China-Japan Friendship Monument stands on the lawn in the garden.
