Munro Trail Introduction: The Munro Trail is a 12.8-mile (20-kilometer) long dirt road that starts north of Lanai City and passes by the Four Seasons Resort Koai Ray Resort on Lanai. The stables are named after New Zealand naturalist George Munro who came here in 1860. Walking along it, you can enjoy the spectacular scenery formed by the Cook pine trees introduced by Monroe. At the end of the trail, you can reach the top of Lanaihale, the highest peak on Lanai Island, with an altitude of 3370 feet (1027 meters). A great place to gaze into the distance.
